INPEX today annonced it intend to acquire under a farm-in agreement a total 20% participating interest in the P799 license in the waters off the Shetland Islands, U.K. through its British subsidiary INPEX UK LIMITED from Shell U.K. Limited and Enterprise Oil U.K. Limited which are companies of the Royal Dutch Shell Group. Total today announces that it has signed an agreement with Nigeria’s Conoil Producing Limited to farm into the deep offshore OPL 257 license with a 40% interest. Conoil remains the operator with a 50% interest, and a local company holds the remaining 10%. Full text
