Subsea 7 announced today that it has been awarded an engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning (EPIC) contract valued at approx. US $ 70 million by Centrica Resources Limited, a subsidiary of Centrica plc, for the Grove Extension and Seven Seas Development Projects in the Southern North Sea. Full text

SBM Offshore N.V. hasannounce the three contract awards. First is a call off frame contract has been obtained from BP Angola in support of a development programme offshore Angola. Second is Total E&P Angola for the Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Construction and Installation (EPSCI) of the Oil Loading System on the PAZFLOR project. Claxton Engineering Services Ltd, an Acteon company, has been awarded a contract worth in excess of GBP 1 million by EnCana. Claxton Engineering will be supplying subsea risers, interface connections and personnel for drilling and completions operations for five wells on a high-pressure natural gas platform, set in depths of 44 metres, 175 km offshore of Nova Scotia, in the Deep Panuke field.
