Gazprom said that it has started the construction work of the challenging section along the Bovanenkovo – Ukhta gas trunkline system – a subsea pipeline crossing via the Baidarata Bay. In Australia, North West Shelf Angel is reported ahead of schedule and budget. Offshore hook up complete and final commissioning is in progress. Subsea project Pyrenees is also on schedule and budget. Floating Production Storage and Offtake (FPSO) conversion continues.

Galoc Production Company (GPC), the Operator of the Galoc Field offshore Palawan, Philippines, advises that, following disconnection of the FPSO from the Mooring and Riser System which was necessary due to typhoon Frank (FengShen)subsequent inspection of the subsea components by Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) has revealed damage to one of the upper riser sections. Shell announced today first injection of water in the Ursa/Princess Waterflood project. The topsides injection system injects filtered and treated sea water via two separate flowlines to three subsea sites - one to an existing well site northwest of the Ursa Tension Leg Platform (TLP), one to an existing well site southeast of the Ursa TLP and one to a new well site northeast of the Ursa TLP. BHP Billiton said that first oil and natural gas production has commenced from the Neptune development in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. The Neptune TLP was installed in 4,250 feet (1,300 meters) of water on Green Canyon Block 613. Field development includes six initial subsea wells tied back to the TLP. Full text
